Why is it that it is during the most difficult times of our life that some of our 'best' friends desert us??
Why is it that the it takes the most desolate, desperate times of our life to make us realise the 'real' worth of the people around us??
Why is it that it takes the lows of our life to make us realise the importance we have in some peoples lives??
Why is it that, over time ,some relationships attain the kinda magnitude you never thought they would??
Why is it that the ones closest to us hurt us the most??
Why is it that we hurt the people closest to us, the most??

Why are we not perfect?????
Why is life not perfect????

too much perfection bores...i like life as it is-the little ups & downs!...the 'downs' teach us the value of the 'ups'...

Is it a take home exam?
    Is it open book?
    Can we discuss with others?
When should we turn in the answers by?
How much weitage will this test ahve in the final grade?
Would you like the answers to be brief or elaborate?

PS: I hope you have lightened up by now to take my comment in a lighter vein. :-)

    >>Re to the poem

With apologies to Nietzsche............. Pain is the very essence of our being. We never recognize our soul until it is in pain.
    Sometimes, pain is good.

PS: I hope I am not sounding like a dungeon master. :P

I am new to blog. Was passing through some blogs and saw this PIANFUL stuff. Thought of halting for some time. Paying for the halting time of 5 mins by 16th comment on your 8 line long pain.

Earth is not perfectly round. Moon is not perfectly spotless. Do you follow the same routine daily perfectly? Does it rain same way each year? no ... nothing in this nature is perfect.

I hope you would have realized that you have come alone, and you have to go alone. There is nothing permanent in this world. Then why do you seek the permanency in people's trust or their behavior? Don’t moan for those who deserted you.. Be grateful to TIME that you will never expect anything from your old best friends for you NEXT hardship, and will keep getting new best friends giving strength to your faith in the value of friendship. Isn’t it very confusing, the life getting trapped among so many old and new “best” friends..?

I run my life on one funda. I don’t expect anything from my good friends. This is the only way of keeping them as my good friends. I have learnt this from one of my very good friends. It is hard to practice but the results are very fruitful. ;-) The only best friend I have got is ME.
